We’re honored to celebrate, through our work with Donate Life Tennessee, people like Coffee County Clerk Teresa McFadden – who was recognized for her continued strong advocacy of the county clerks’ Donate-A-Dollar program.

In 1996 the program was launched in Tennessee allowing drivers, upon renewal of his or her car registration, the opportunity to make a monetary donation to the “Donate-A-Dollar Program,” which benefits the Tennessee County Clerks Organ Donor Awareness Foundation. In August, the foundation announced that it has raised $4 million used to educate Tennesseans on the importance of becoming an organ and tissue donor.
